The Institute ( ISO 9001 Certified) was established in the 1989 with trades getting affiliated to NCVT in 2001. The institute provided education in five trades that are, Mechanic Electronics, Wireman, Electrician, Radio T.V. and Wireless Operator out of which currently three are functional. Today ITI Khetikhan passes out 64 students in Various Trades.
ITI Khetikhan is situated in remote but beautiful hills of Champawat at a height of 6000 feet with a cool to moderate climate throughout year. Neareast Railway Stations are Tankpur (105kms) and Haldwani (175kms) and It is connected by road to nearby towns of Lohaghat (15kms), Champawat (30kms) and Haldwani. The Institute provides Education opportunities to the Students of a large area and will continue to do so.
