The Institute was established in the year 2006 with Trades Fitter 2 Units & Electrician 2 Units having seating capacity of 80 students. This is an ISO 9001 Certified Institute and is running in its own building situated at the height of approx. 268 meters above sea level in Roorkee block of District Haridwar. It is situated 30 km from District Administration Haridwar. It is 70 km away from the state capital Dehradun. The Institute is having Private Public Partnership scheme of Government of India, to impart quality training.
The Institute Has Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Ranipur, Haridwar as Industry Partner under PPP scheme. Industry Partner is associated to lead the process of upgradation of trades, overall upgradation of Institute in many verticals. The Institute is covered under World Bank funded “Uttarakhand Workforce Development Project and Various other trades are also proposed to run in the ITI from 2021. Hence, the intake capacity will almost double. The institute is growing under the excellent guidance of IMC
