The Institute was established in the year 1989 with 05 Trades, Mech. Electronic, Mech. Radio T.V., Stenography Hindi, D.P.C.S. & Cutting Tailring having 84 seats capacity. The Institute was running in Hindu Pancayati Dharamshala at Lansdowne till 2001, when building was damaged by rain institute shifted to Govt. Inter Collage, Jaiharikhal campus & running till now. At present there are 04 trades in which 02 NCVT (Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant(Hindi), Sewing Technology) & 02 SCVT (COPA, Electrician) are having 84 seats capacity. It situated at the height of approx. 5800 feet above Mean Sea Level in Jaiharikhal block of District Pauri Garhwal. It is away 41 km from Kotdwara which is nearest Railway Station also & 72 Km away from District Headquarter Pauri Garhwal.
