The Institute ( ISO 9001 Certified) was established in the 1984 with trades getting affiliated to NCVT in 2001. At present the institute provides training in two trades which are Wireman and Sewing Technology having seats capacity 20 each. The Institute has its own building situated at a height of 5299 feet from the sea level. Neareast Railway Stations are Tanakpur (80kms) and KathGodam (158kms). Champawat has a Humid subtropical climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. Due to its high elevation, Champawat usually a more moderate climate throughout the year.Champawat is a town and a Nagar Palika Parishad in Champawat district in the state of Uttarakhand,India. It is administrative headquarters of Champawat district. The town was the former capital of Kumaon Kingdom. Points of interest are Baleshwar Temple, Naganath temple, Maneshwar Temple, Golu devta Temple, Advaita Ashram Mayavati, Vanasur Fort etc. It is connected by road to nearby towns of Lohaghat (13kms), Khetikhan (30kms) and Pithoragarh(75kms). The Institute provides Education opportunities to the Students of a large area and will continue to do so. Now Institute is shifted to new building, earlier it was running in a rental building.
